Grand Canyon (National Park)
The National Park "Grand Canyon" or "Grand Canyon" (in English : Grand Canyon National Park ), located in the state of Arizona , is one of the oldest national parks in the United States .
Its territory is the Grand Canyon or the Grand Canyon (in English : Grand Canyon ), one of the deepest canyons in the world, situated on the river Colorado , 320 kilometers long and 1800 meters deep in places. Over millions of years the river is collapsing and carved rocks while is paving the way between them and created a multicolored deep pit with vertical walls.

That same year, the park is visited by nearly 45,000 people. Today, the Grand Canyon is visited annually by about 5 million people.
In the park there are archaeological finds of 12,000 years, which testify to settlements of Indian tribes in these lands. The first documented visit of European settlers from 1540
The Colorado River has cut into solid rock for millions of years to form the Grand Canyon.
Tourism
The park offers various entertainment and tours. There are steep paths , which experienced travelers can get off walk in the bottom of the canyon. There are canyon overflights with helicopters and small airplanes and riding a mule . The last major tourist attraction is the "Heavenly walk" (in English : Grand Canyon Skywalk ), opened on March 28, 2007 It is kind of hanging glass balcony (in the form of a horseshoe) off the edge of the canyon, where it reveals incredible views. It is visited annually by over 5 million tourists, most of whom visit the south side of the park, arriving in Arizona Road 64.
